ECS Inspector in Desktop brings the powerful ECS inspection capabilities from the legacy Swing client into Desktop Online. This feature enables users to inspect, edit, and manage UDRs and batches stored in the ECS, ensuring data integrity and enabling corrective actions without restarting upstream processes. Users can view detailed record content, apply controlled edits where needed, and assign data to Reprocessing Groups—making it eligible for re-ingestion via ECS collection agents.

While the default value remains “DR,” the parameter can now be customized to reflect environment-specific identifiers—with constraints on length, truncation, and allowed characters to be documented and enforced. This feature represents an enhancement to our existing capabilities. Previously, you had to write the Avro format definition in Ultra, compile, and save it in MediationZone.
