This feature represents an enhancement to our existing capabilities. Previously, you had to write the Avro format definition in Ultra, compile, and save it in MediationZone. With this enhancement, we've introduced a more streamlined approach. The new Avro enhancement allows users to refer to external schema registries where the Avro format definition resides, eliminating the need for any internally saved definition in MediationZone.

This marks a significant shift as it's the first type of format definition that does not reside in MediationZone. Users now have the flexibility to incorporate multiple schema registries within a single workflow, such as distinct ones for the Decoder, Encoder, and APL functions.

This feature allows a single 5G network function (NF) deployment to interface with multiple 5G core networks, simplifying management and reducing system resources requirements. Previously, each 5G core network required a dedicated 5G network function (NF) deployment, leading to increased complexity and resource usage.

This new approach streamlines network management and minimizes system resource requirements by allowing a single 5G NF to serve multiple core networks. In addition, a single 5G NF can now improve service continuity by having redundancy and failover capability across multiple 5G core networks.

MediationZone 9.2 introduces support for 3GPP Release 17, unlocking new features and improvements for next-generation 5G network solutions. This will allow for the enablement of features like enhanced network performance, improved positioning, and broader IoT applications.

Release 17 introduces features to handle new charging use cases, such as network slicing and non-public networks.

Mail notify functions in APL have been around for a long time, and our customers use them frequently to create notifications directly from their workflows.

With the introduction of this functionality, users will now be able to use HTML within those emails and configure and template them as much as they would like.

Introducing an enhanced capability within MediationZone: the ability to configure and utilize inter workflow and Duplicate UDR detection without any reliance on the underlying disk storage. Now, users can harness database storage for all data related to inter workflow, and the detection and handling of Duplicate UDRs, enhancing flexibility and resilience in their cloud-based deployments. In MediationZone 9.2, we introduced support for MariaDB. Users can now select tables available for querying and editing via the Reference Data Management dashboard or RESTful interface. This feature provides capabilities to query, edit, import, and export reference data directly from MariaDB, eliminating the need to switch between applications or interfaces.

In our continuous commitment to enhancing performance and scalability, we are excited to introduce an update to the Couchbase implementation within MediationZone

Leveraging the more recent Couchbase SDK, this update ensures a modernized and optimized experience for users relying on Couchbase NoSQL database storage for components such as Policy, Routing Control, Usage Management (Metering), Aggregation, and Distributed Storage.

The existing limitation on the number of available buckets (30) has prompted this update, addressing customer needs for increased support, specifically for scopes and collections. Operating through the gRPC protocol over HTTP/2, the Streaming Telemetry agent retrieves crucial router information (OSS data) in real-time, addressing critical needs in network performance monitoring.
