With the rising prominence of ARM-based architectures, especially AWS's Graviton, x86 is no longer the exclusive default CPU architecture for all applications. As part of this update, ARM64-compatible images of Usage Engine Private Edition are now available, enabling seamless deployment on Graviton and other ARM-based architectures.

This both broadens the scope of CPU options and also focuses on optimizing infrastructure costs.

Designed for versatile applications, Data Hub serves as a pivotal component for various scenarios, including data tracing, temporary archiving, analytics, seamless integration with external systems, and staging data for further processing.

To unlock the full potential of Data Hub, the feature relies on access to Cloudera Impala, ensuring high-performance, low-latency SQL queries on data stored in a Hadoop filesystem (HDFS). The Data Hub agent facilitates the bulk loading of data in CSV files to HDFS, followed by the insertion of this data into a Parquet table in the Impala database.
